This collection contains several contributions on various topics (linguistics and interdisciplinarity, linguistics and semiotics, philosophy of language, linguistic didactics, etc.) made in the framework of the seminars and doctoral schools in the history and epistemology of language sciences that have been organised in Switzerland during the last five years. The contributors include both renowned researchers and young scholars interested in the history of linguistic ideas.
