Résumé
Pierre CAUSSAT, University of Paris-X Nanterre : « On the Doctrines Referred to in Jakobson's and Trubetzkoy's Work : Bound or Unbound references »
One of the peculiarities characteristic of R. Jakobson's work is the numerous doctrinal quotations derived from Russian culture, as well as from Western culture. In fact, their apparent eclecticism is implicitly based on a well-defined «axiom of choice» : the presence – or absence – in the doctrines referred to of principles of order, symmetry and system. This axiom is strongly linked with the most constant stock of the «Russian tradition» liable, in every field, to sort out and claim its own.
