Abstract
In this paper we describe our experience in carrying out two continuing education courses in classical languages at the Haute école pédagogique de Vaud in Lausanne during two academic years, i.e. 2017-2018 (Ancient Greek) and 2018-2019 (Ancient Greek and Latin). The aim of the training courses was to encourage secondary school teachers to introduce orality into the teaching of classical languages. We presented the advantages of the oral approach to teachers and provided them with the basic tools to start using it in class. The teachers prepared then some projects that they presented to their classes. We gave them our feedback by discussing with them the projects and the reactions of the pupils.
