Abstract
This article aims to provide a status quaestionis of the research on the Gothic-‐Latin palimpsest found in Bologna in 2009. We analyse and critically review all publications subsequent to our first decipherment, transcription, translation and contextualisation of this new document (Finazzi/Tornaghi 2013). This is in order to reach a better understanding of the environment that produced this text, which is of great interest for its language, its content, and the history of Arianism. It turns out that the investigations should not only focus on the Greek and Latin versions of the Bible, but should also take into account texts such as the apocrypha, the glosses, and the commentaries.
